As part of the Absolent Air Care Group, Filtermist Limited has supplied the UK market with products manufactured by its sister company Absolent AB for more than 10 years. As the group expands, so does Filtermist’s offering: the latest addition to Filtermist’s portfolio – compact, portable dust collectors from Canadian company Quatro Air Technologies, will be introduced to UK customers at the Southern Manufacturing show in Farnborough next month.

Filtermist’s stand (H235) will include a Quatro JetStream WideBody compact dust collector which was originally introduced to the European market at the AMB show in Stuttgart last year. Quatro’s bag filter dust collectors are designed to effectively remove dust particles generated in a wide range of applications including laser etching, soldering, grinding, deburring, milling and engraving. The company also provides fume extractors and HEPA grade air purifiers.

Filtermist already offers a comprehensive industrial dust extraction service through its Dustcheck product range: Quatro’s dust collectors are designed for very different customer requirements in that they are generally used in small applications with small amounts of dust and fume.

As well as the Quatro dust collector, the Filtermist team will also be showcasing a Filtermist oil mist filter demonstration unit and an ATEX rated Kerstar KEVA 45H industrial vacuum cleaner at the three-day show. The team will be reminding visitors that all Filtermist units come with a free five-year warranty as standard and all units installed for UK end-users also include the first service.

Information about DAIR, another product which is new to the Group, will also be available on the Filtermist stand. DAIR is a brand-new innovation from Absolent Air Care Group which uses ‘bubble technology’ to create a new standard in clean workspaces – ensuring precision tasks can be undertaken with no risk of contamination.
